The C.A. Technologies J100C-18-2466-401 is a Jaguar 100C gravity-feed conventional spray gun configured with a 1.8 mm fluid tip and a 2466 air cap.
The four Jaguar models differ in two ways. The C models use conventional atomization, and the H models use HVLP. The 100 series is designed for general-purpose spraying, and the 300 series is designed for fine-finish work. All four have stainless steel fluid passages, Air inlet: 1/4 in. NPS male, and Fluid inlet: M16 × 1.5 male.
| Model | Spray Type | General Description | Air requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jaguar 100C | Conventional | The broadest listed fluid-tip range, 0.6–2.8 mm, for coatings ranging from thin stains and dyes to heavy primers and adhesives. The 2.8 mm tip with the 2268 air cap is the recommended gelcoat setup. Optional carbide-tipped nozzles are available for abrasive materials. Comes standard with a 750 cc aluminum cup. | 5–16.2 CFM at 50 PSI, depending on air cap |
| Jaguar 300C | Conventional | A patented two-piece nozzle and 12-point balanced plenum are designed for smooth, uniform atomization. Listed tips span 0.8–1.6 mm for materials including stains, basecoats, clearcoats, and sealers. Comes standard with a 750 cc aluminum cup. | 10.7 CFM at 55 PSI in the coating chart |
| Jaguar J100H | HVLP | A general-purpose gravity-feed gun for automotive and wood finishing, with a low-CFM cap option for smaller compressors. Comes standard with a 750 cc aluminum cup and 1.4 mm tip with the 1093 air cap. | 10 CFM with the standard setup. The 21-1090 low-CFM cap requires 6 CFM at 15 PSI. |
| Jaguar J300H | HVLP | Designed for production fine finishing on wood and automotive surfaces. The 12-point plenum is designed to produce finer, more uniform droplets, and a built-in air adjustment valve lets the operator adjust air at the gun. Comes standard with a 750 cc aluminum cup. | 13.5 CFM at 45 PSI |
How to choose:
- 100C for conventional spraying across the widest range of coating viscosities, especially when you need a dedicated gelcoat setup or a carbide-tipped nozzle.
- 300C for a conventional gun focused on finish quality, especially for basecoats and clearcoats.
- J100H for a versatile HVLP gun with a lower-air-demand configuration and a specified standard cup and nozzle.
- J300H for HVLP production finishing when fine atomization is the priority and your air supply can meet the stated requirement.
